A Night to Remember: The Fifth Annual Bands and Beer Bash Raises Over $24,000

Angelina’s Song turned up on the volume at the Fifth Annual Bands and Beer Bash, held at the Well Crafted Beer Company in Ambler, PA. This incredible event brought together music enthusiasts, community, and passionate supports for an unforgettable evening advocating for music therapy. The night raise $24,093.00 for the foundation’s Scholarship Fund — empowering future music therapists to help make a long-lasting impact.

Honey, featuring Nicole Miele. Planas-Borgstom, a childhood cancer survivor and 2024/2025 Angelina’s Song Scholarship Recipient, moved the crowd with his heartfelt melodies and inspiring story. All while Wild Honey brought their signature energy and sound to close the night on a high note, ensuring the room was alive with music and joy.

Alison Edwards, a two-time scholarship recipient, also captivated the audience with a touching speech about her journey with music therapy, demonstrating how the support of Angelina’s Song is empowering future music therapists.


Guests had plenty of ways to get involved and give back throughout the evening. Highlights included an online silent auction filled with unique treasures, a lively 50/50 raffle, and the generous contribution of a percentage of beer sales from Well Crafted Beer. One of the most moving moments was when an anonymous donor pledged $5,000, propelling the evening’s fundraising total to its final amount.

The Fifth Annual Bands and beer Bash wasn’t just a fundraiser. It was a celebration of community, resilience, and the power of music. Together, we honored Angelina’s memory while continuing to champion the foundation’s mission: supporting those affected by cancer through music therapy and empowering the next generation of music therapists.

To everyone who joined, donated, or cheered from afar, thank you for making this evening one for the books. Your generosity and support are instrumental in sharing the power of music. Special shoutout to the foundation’s board members, Amy Lausterer, Dan McAllister, Maria Latulippe, Tara Spence, and Lou and Nicole Miele, for making sure the event ran smoothly.

Angelina's Song inspires others through the power of music. As a nonprofit, we provide grants to children's hospitals to support music therapy programs and annually contribute to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation for research.
