Taking this journey with her was the hardest thing I have ever done.  Everyday of the fight, I never believed we would lose. Everyday we found something beautiful and positive to be grateful for. Angelina taught us many things, and when others looked at her with pity, I always saw her dignity, her passion for others, and her strong faith.  Music was and still is important to us. It has lifted our spirits some days and on others made us cry, but regardless of how it moves us, the point is that it makes a difference."

With over 25 years of management experience, Dan is responsible for all aspects of running the BuyBack Booth business. Previously, he has worked with Scala and TouchTunes. Currently his is the General Manager at Pennsylvania Amusements.

 

Dan has served on the Board of Directors with Michaels Way, a nonprofit that support families with children battling cancer. He also has fundraised for the Young Survivors Coalition (YSC). The Coalition hosts the Tour de Pink, a 3 day bike event, that helps women battling breast cancer.

 

Dan is a graduate from Babson College where he studied Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies.

Tara is a Brooklyn native and a graduate of Wellesley College. She's spent the last 10 years working at TouchTunes where's she's fostered her passion for music and technology.

 

"Watching Angelina battle a devastating diagnosis with grace, courage, and dignity changed my life in profound ways. During Angelina’s fight, I would have done anything – given anything — to bring her and her family a little peace and joy. I remember visiting her in the hospital and the only time she seemed truly happy was when she was singing her fight song 'Stronger,' by Kelly Clarkson. If you could have seen her sing that song you, too, would believe in miracles and understand the profound healing effect that music can have on people suffering from illness."

Maria manages the Angelina's Song Scholarship which is awarded to a full-time Music Therapy major of an AMTA-approved school in PA. Maria and her husband, Dan, host the annual Bands and Beer Bash fundraiser for Angelina's Song Foundation and scholarship.

Maria is Vice President of IntegriChain's global Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Science teams. She brings her 30 years of experience in engineering management to the Foundation Board, with proven success in driving productivity and efficiency while delivering technology roadmaps.

 

She lives in Ambler, PA, with her husband and two dogs; and enjoys live music, cycling, and travel (including visits to their six children).

Amy was first involved with non-profit’s while attending Penn State University and fundraised to purchase and donate SIDS monitors for the local hospital’s pediatric unit. In the early 1990's, she volunteered at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia during a local strike. Witnessing the suffering of the patients and families impacted Amy greatly and she vowed to serve others some way in the future.

Witnessing Lou and Nicole Miele's dignity, grace, and strength reminded Amy of that vow long ago. Getting the call to join the Board of Angelina’s Song is the start of fulfilling a promise to “make that difference” in the lives of children affected by cancer.
